Geode Capital Management's latest 13F filing reflects the structural signature of a large-scale passive indexing operation rather than an active management strategy. With 8,534 positions and a Herfindahl-Hirschman Index of just 0.013, the portfolio is about as diversified as institutional filings get, consistent with Geode's role as a sub-advisor executing systematic replication of broad market benchmarks for Fidelity's index fund lineup. The top ten holdings, led by multiple share-class or filing-line entries in NVDA, AAPL, and MSFT, collectively account for 29.9% of reported value, which is roughly in line with the concentration one would expect from cap-weighted exposure to mega-cap technology names rather than any conviction-driven stock selection.
